CAPACITY BUILDING ON FISH HANDLING TECHNIQUES FOR MEMBER COUNTRIES

The regional training course on fish handling techniques applicable to various fishing operations in Southeast Asia was conducted from 11 to 15 December 2017 at SEAFDEC/Training Department, Samut Prakan Province, Thailand. Fourteen participants from SEAFDEC Member Countries trained in this Course. The training course was focused on demonstration and practical for participants and aimed to transfer appropriate hygienic environmental/user friendly fish handling tools and simple techniques applicable to maintain quality of the catch.
