The SEAFDEC Training Department (TD) gave warm welcomed to Mrs. Eve Raymond, an International Development Manager of French Sea Innovation Clusters and her team on 15 January 2019. In this regard, TD introduced SEAFDEC’s role and mission in the region. Moreover, sharing experience on maritime safety and security, marine saving energy, and marine biological resources were conducted to find collaboration in the future.
French Sea Innovation Clusters: serving the maritime sector is the main mission in developing a competitive maritime economy by stimulating and encouraging innovation through collaboration around six (6) major themes, as follows: Maritime safety and security, Shipbuilding and leisure boatbuilding, Marine energy and mining resources, Marine biological resources, Coastal environmental planning and management, and Ports, infrastructures and maritime transports.
