CAPACITY BUILDING ON BASIC PRINCIPLE OF FISHING GEAR FOR THAI FISHERIES OFFICERS

The SEAFDEC Training Department (TD) organized “The Training Course on Basic Principle of Fishing Gear” from 13 to 22 March 2019 at TD office, Samut Prakan, Thailand, aims to capacity building on basic principle of fishing gear through the fishing situation in Thailand. There were 23 participants who are fisheries officers from the Department of Fisheries (DOF) of Thailand attended in this training course. The training consists of three (3) parts, namely: as lecture, practice and study trip which focused on relevant to basic principle of fishing gear subjects.  At the end, all participants are expected to understand and develop their skill and experience to make and repair the fishing gear and able to apply and utilize in their job.
