TD JOINS THAILAND FISHERY EXHIBITION

The SEAFDEC Training Department (SEAFDEC/TD) joined National Fishery Exhibition in Thailand “Pramong Nomklao” which was organized by the Department of Fisheries, Thailand from 28 June to 7 July 2019 at the Future Park Department Store, Pathumthani Province, Thailand. This year, SEAFDEC/TD presented the subject of “Automatic Squid Jigging” at the exhibition. Moreover, the sample of squids in Thailand was presented to impart knowledge on biology and life cycle to the audiences through promoting SEAFDEC activities via information materials such as technical publications, brochures, and fishery-related souvenirs. Finally, all incomes collected from the fair will be donated to the famous Chulabhorn Research Institute for its cancer research.
