MISSION ON eACDS IMPLEMENTATION IN VIET NAM

The SEAFDEC Training Department (SEAFDEC/TD) in collaboration with the Directorate of Fisheries (D-Fish), Viet Nam conducted the mission on electronic ASEAN Catch Documentation Scheme (eACDS) in Binh Thuan Province, Viet Nam from 8 to 12 July 2019. The planning of eACDS implementation and follow up Key Data Elements (KDEs) collection in Binh Thuan Province was discussed with Sub D-Fish in Binh Thuan and relevant authorities who will engage in eACDS implementation activities. Moreover, the training course for the use of eACDS application in the part I (port-in port-out) was organized for twenty relevant officers. The training aimed to impart knowledge and understanding on the use of eACDS application in the part of port-in and port-out to issue Catch Documentation (CD) which is a part of fishery product traceability system.
