TRAINING ON eACDS APPLICATION FOR VIET NAM

The SEAFDEC Training Department (SEAFDEC/TD) organized the on-site training on the use of electronic ASEAN Catch Documentation Scheme (eACDS) for fishery officers and fishermen in Binh Thuan Province, Viet Nam from 26 to 30 August 2019. There were twelve participants (1 woman and 11 men) who conduct and authorize at the port for port-in and port-out activities from Phan Thiet, Phu Hai and Lagi fishing port through fishermen in Binh Thuan Province attended this training. The training course aimed to impart knowledge and understanding of the use of eACDS application for Port-in Port-out issuance, offline catch report at sea and issuing the Catch Declaration and Movement Document which is a part of fishery product traceability system. After the training course, the participant can use and better understand the eACDS system in the part of port-out, port-in, issue initial Catch Declaration (CD), catch record at sea and issue Movement Documentation (MD).
