NOAA STAFF VISITS TD AND DISCUSSION ON COLLABORATION FUTURE ACTIVITIES

Five staff from National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) visited the SEAFDEC Training Department (TD) facilities as M.V.SEAFDEC, fishing and engineering workshop on 8 July 2016. Moreover, the discussion on collaboration activities and assistance in the future was raised up such as Ecosystem Approach to Fisheries Management (EAFM), Port State Measures (PSM) and database management for oceanographic survey.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is an American scientific agency within the United States Department of Commerce focused on the conditions of the oceans and the atmosphere. NOAA warns of dangerous weather, charts seas, guides the use and protection of ocean and coastal resources, and conducts research to improve understanding and stewardship of the environment.
