TD collaborated with the Fish Market Organization of Thailand and the Thai Navy Dockyard for the organization of a Children’s Day Event on 9 January 2010 at the Agriculture Museum, Pathumtani Province and at the Pomprachunlajomklao Navy Dockyard, respectively.

In second Saturday of January is National Children’s Day of Thailand. TD organized an exhibition at the Agriculture Museum, Pathumtani Province, Thailand which included information on responsible fishing and resource conservation. The TD exhibition, which was visited by more 3,500 children, was organized with the collaboration of the Fish Market Organization of Thailand.

Moreover, TD also organized on the same day an exhibition at the Pomprachunlajomklao Navy Dockyard in Samut Prakarn, Thailand where models of fishing gear such as long line, hook and trawl installed with JTED, were displayed. The event, which was held in collaboration with the Thai Navy Dockyard, had more than 2,500 children visitors.
