Call for Papers

The call for papers is now closed. You should have received notification from us whether your abstract was accepted for presentation. We believe that the conference program is going to be very interesting with papers covering a broad range of topics and geography. Please visit the Program page to see the preliminary conference program.

If you are interested in having your paper included in the conference proceedings (to be distributed in a memory stick at the conference), please submit an ‘extended abstract’ following the required format as shown below by September 15, 2010. Extended abstracts must be written in English and should not exceed 2,500 words (the word limit includes references, tables and figures). Note that the extended abstracts will not be peer-reviewed. Please submit your extended abstract as an email attachment to wsfc2010@mun.ca. Word documents or Adobe pdf files are acceptable. The copy you send us will not be re-typed or otherwise modified. Therefore, please follow these guidelines listed in the downloadable file below exactly, so that the proceedings volume will have a uniform format.

We will plan also to publish a selected number of conference papers as special issues in peer-reviewed journals. Information about this will be available at a later date.
