Registration and Payment

 

On-line registration and payment is now open. Once you complete the on-line registration form, you will be asked to submit a payment. We offer two methods of payment:
          (1) Credit card (VISA, MasterCard or JCB)
          (2) Telex transfer (similar to wire transfer) – available up to September 30

We will issue a confirmation email within 1 or 2 days of receipt, in case of credit card payment. Should you have any inquiries relating to credit card payment, please contact wsfc2010@mun.ca.

For telex transfer, please contact Kannika Boonkananurak at kannika@seafdec.org to notify of payment and receive confirmation. Also, please make sure to pay all bank charges or processing fees, in order for us to receive the payment in full.


In the case that neither credit card nor Telex transfer is a feasible payment method for you, please contact the organizing committee directly about an alternate arrangement.



Registration fee schedules:

 

Early registration (by July 31): USD 250
Late registration (after July 31): USD 300
Student registration (by July 31): USD 100
Student registration (after July 31): USD 150
Single day registration: USD 60
(for community/industry/NGOs/others)
Field excursion: included
Cruise dinner: included



Notes:

       1. Registration not valid unless accompanied by payment.

       2. We encourage you to register and make a payment on-line as early as possible as space for the conference is limited to 200 participants.

       3. On-site registration (USD 300 for regular, USD 150 for students) is contingent upon space availability.

       4. Telex transfer is available only up to September 30 to allow adequate time for processing. Beginning October 1, please pay by credit card.

 

Congress fee includes registration package, conference program, conference proceedings, lunches, breaks, reception, field excursion and cruise dinner. Since space for field excursion is limited to 120 participants, it is on a first-come and first-serve basis. Field excursion involves visits to small-scale fisheries community, mangroves, shrimp farm and coastal tourism. For any additional person bringing with you to join the field excursion and cruise dinner (who is unregistered at the conference), there will be a nominal fee of USD15 and 25, respectively.

Refund of registration fee requested by:
August 15:                  Full refund
September 15:           50% refund
After September 15:   No refund

To request refund, please contact us at wsfc2010@mun.ca. There will be $25
processing fee for any refund/cancellation. Please note that refund will be
processed one month after the closing of the conference.
