Online Training on the Use of eACDS for Brunei Darussalam

The SEAFDEC Training Department (SEAFDEC/TD) in collaboration with the Department of Fisheries, Brunei Darussalam organized the “Online Training on the Use of Electronic ASEAN Catch Documentation System (eACDS) Application” from 2 to 3 September 2020 via Google Meet platform. This training was focused on the part of the Catch Declaration (CD) and Movement Document (MD) for 10 relevant fisheries officers. The introduction on eACDS application version 2 was imparted to participants through a demonstration on the use of this application in the part of the CD and MD step by step. Moreover, the participants practiced the use of this application for their understanding. The training expected that the participants will be a trainer to impart this application for fishermen and stakeholders to use eACDS application.

The eACDS application is the traceability of fish and fishery products from fishing to plate. It will be used by relevant authorities, fisherman, and buyers. The eACDS application was implemented based on webpage and mobile app.
