Mr. Anurak Loog-On
Captain “M.V. SEAFDEC” (C/M.V. SEAFDEC)
He serves as the Captain of M.V. SEAFDEC at the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC), Thailand. He holds a Master Mariner Certificate issued by the Marine Department of Thailand and a Bachelor of Science degree in Fisheries (Marine Science) from Kasetsart University. He has over 20 years of operational experience in ship operations, navigation planning for research surveys, and fisheries research support. His research interests include marine navigation, vessel operations, and maritime education.

Mr. Aussawin Buachuay
Chief Officer “M.V. SEAFDEC” (C/O)
He serves as the Chief Officer of M.V. SEAFDEC at the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC), Thailand. He holds a Chief Mate on ships of 3,000 gross tonnage or more. Certificate issued by the Marine Department of Thailand and a Bachelor of Technology for Marine and Coastal Resources Management from Walailak University. He has over 20 years of operational experience in safety training for seafarers and emergency management planning, vessel operations, navigation planning for research surveys and fisheries research support.

Mr. Pitchapong Aramvanitch
Second Officer “M.V. SEAFDEC” (2/O)
He is a graduate of the International Maritime College, Kasetsart University, having completed his studies in 2016. He holds a Certificate of Competency as an Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch (OOW) on ships of 500 gross tonnage or more. He is currently serving as Second Officer on board M.V. SEAFDEC, with professional experience in navigational watchkeeping, safety operations, voyage planning, passage monitoring, and inspection of navigational equipment to ensure operational readiness and compliance with applicable safety standards.

Mr. Tanadech Jarukornchotima
Third Officer “M.V. SEAFDEC” (3/O)
He is Third officer of M.V. SEAFDEC at the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC), Thailand. He holds an Officer in charge of a navigational watch on ships Certificate issued by the Marine Department of Thailand and a Bachelor of Science degree in Fisheries (Marine Science) from Kasetsart University. He has over 10 years of marine safety for maintenance conducted by The International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS). Beyond technical maritime safety, He served as a navigational watchkeeper with proficient in electronic navigation systems and COLREGs compliance, ensuring safe and efficient vessel operations in accordance with international maritime law.

Mr. Huttachai Choypanit
Third Engineer “M.V. SEAFDEC” (3/E)
He holds a Chief Engineer Officer Certificate for ships powered by main propulsion machinery with propulsion power between 750 and 3,000 kW. He is currently serving as a Third Engineer aboard M.V. SEAFDEC. His responsibilities include the maintenance and operation of the ship’s electrical systems, engine monitoring, SOPEP system, and ensuring workplace safety for engine room.

Mr. Watchara Panasri
Forth Engineer “M.V. SEAFDEC” (4/E)
He holds a Certificate of Competency as an Officer in charge of an engineering watch on ship powered by main propulsion machinery of 750 kW propulsion power or more. He is currently serving as a Fourth Engineer on board M.V. SEAFDEC. His duties include maintenance and repair of machinery, air compressors, pumps, and oil purifiers. He also records machinery operating parameters, manages onboard waste disposal using an incinerator, and controls welding safety procedures and processes on board the ship.
