SEAFDEC/TD impart knowledge on gender mainstreaming in fisheries to KU students

SEAFDEC Training Department (SEAFDEC/TD) by Ms.Jariya Sornkliang, Fisheries Management Scientist and Gender Expertise imparted knowledge on gender mainstreaming in fisheries to 17 students (15 Females and 2 Males) who study fishery management from the faculty of fisheries, Kasetsart University. The lecture focused on gender concepts, gender mainstreaming, and its tools, and gender integration in fisheries. The lecture was conducted for two days on 25 July and 1 August 2024 with 3 hours per day at the faculty of fisheries, and SEAFDEC Secretariat office respectively.  The students gained and shared information on gender aspects with active participation during the lecture.
