The SEAFDEC Training Department organized the “Regional Training Course for Fisheries Inspectors in the Implementation of Port State Measures (PSM)” from 15 to 18 September 2025, at the SEAFDEC/TD in Thailand. The training aimed to build the capacity of participants to better understand techniques for PSM and port control implementation. This included an understanding of innovative tools for analysis, notification, and support for PSM and port control. Resource persons were provided by SEAFDEC’s partners, including the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the IMCS Network, Global Fishing Watch, and Skylight.
