Write Shop on Fisheries Management Tools for EAFM

The SEAFDEC Training Department (SEAFDEC/TD) organized five days “Inhouse Write Shop on Fisheries Management Tools for Ecosystem Approach to Fisheries Management (EAFM)” from 14 to 18 March 2022 at Training Department, Samut Prakan, Thailand via online platform. This Write Shop attended by 13 participants (6 males and 7 females) who concerned in fisheries management activities from SEAFDEC/TD through the Department of Fisheries, Thailand. The write shop aims to review and make understanding on the existing fisheries management tools for EAFM which is based on a series of fact sheets that focus on managing fishing activities under EAFM including translated this tool from English to Thai language version. The fisheries management expert from Kasetsart University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kungwan Chantarachote, was invited as resource person. This Write Shop is an activity under the project of “Small-scale Fisheries Management for Better Livelihood and Fisheries Resources”
