The SEAFDEC Training Department (SEAFDEC/TD) organized “The Regional Training Course on the Relationship between Ocean Environment Variability and Fisheries Resource Abundance and Oceanographic Sampling” from 22 to 26 November 2021 via online platform. The objectives were to improve the knowledge of human resource of the relationship between ocean environment variability and fisheries resource abundance through enhance the capacity of human resources to carry out oceanographic survey focusing on sampling methods. There were 29 participants (9 females and 20 males) from ASEAN Member States (AMSs) attended in this training. In the end, the knowledge and better understanding of relationship between ocean environment variability, marine resource abundance, and oceanographic sampling were improved and enhanced to apply for their responsibility work.
