Training Course on the Exercising Quantitative Echosounder EK80

SEAFDEC Training Department (SEAFDEC/TD) organized “The Training Course on the Exercising Quantitative Echosounder EK80” from 29 May to 2 June 2023 at SEAFDEC/TD, Samut Prakan, Thailand. This training aims to build the capacity of researchers in using research equipment, EK80 from calibration, and data collection to analysis. Three researchers from the Japan Fisheries Research and Education Agency were invited to be resource persons. There were 11 participants from SEAFDEC Member Countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand) through SEAFDEC’s Department (Training Department (TD), Marine Fishery Resources Development and Management Department (MFRDMD), and Inland Fishery Resources Development and Management Department (IFRDMD)) attended in this training by lecture and practice on M.V. SEAFDEC2. This training is an activity under “Sustainable Utilization of Fisheries Resources and Resources Enhancement in Southeast Asia Project”.
