SEAFDEC Training Department (SEAFDEC/TD) welcomed seven (7) members of the Purse Seine Fishery Association (Thailand) on 26 May 2023. The role of SEAFDEC in the region was introduced including visiting TD facilities such as Fishing Workshop, Marine Engineering Workshop, and M.V.Plalung. Moreover, the subject of new technology and equipment to reduce manpower for purse seine operations was discussed.
