Hybrid Workshop on Market Margin Analysis for the Small-scale Fisheries Supply Chain in Three Sites

The Training Department of the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC/TD) organized a Hybrid Workshop on Market Margin Analysis for Small-Scale Fisheries Supply Chains on 15 May 2026 at the SEAFDEC Secretariat in Bangkok, Thailand. The workshop brought together resource persons from Kasetsart University, focal persons (officers from Lao PDR, the Philippines, and Thailand), RFPN representatives, and SEAFDEC to present and discuss the findings of small-scale fisheries supply chain studies and conduct marketing margin analysis. The activity aimed to enhance understanding of cost, value, and profit distribution along the fisheries supply chain while identifying opportunities to improve fishers’ livelihoods, market access, and value addition.
