SEAFDEC Concludes 58th Council Meeting with Appreciation Dinner

SEAFDEC hosted an Appreciation Dinner for the 58th SEAFDEC Council Meeting on 21 May 2026 at the Riverside Multipurpose Building at SEAFDEC Training Department.

The SEAFDEC Secretary-General warmly welcomed the Distinguished Council Members and honored guests, expressing deep gratitude for their continued commitment and cooperation. She highlighted the highly productive discussions held over recent days, which focused on exchanging valuable insights toward the sustainable development of fisheries and aquaculture across Southeast Asia. The dinner provided a relaxed atmosphere for delegates to step away from their formal agenda to celebrate fellowship and the strong spirit of partnership that continues to unite the SEAFDEC family.

Concluding the evening, the SEAFDEC Deputy Secretary-General emphasized that genuine friendships, shared vision, and mutual respect are what truly contributed to regional collaboration forward.
