SEAFDEC/TD Convenes the 3rd Quarterly Meeting to Follow-up Project Implementation and Review Progress for Q2/2026 and the Proposed Budget for Q3/2026

The SEAFDEC Training Department (SEAFDEC/TD) convened the 3rd Quarterly Meeting to Follow-up Project Implementation and Review Progress for Q2/2026 and the Proposed Budget for Q3/2026 on 3 and 14 August 2026 at the Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Fishing Workshop Building, SEAFDEC/TD, Samut Prakan, Thailand.

The meeting was attended by 40 participants (22 males and 18 females), including the SEAFDEC Secretary-General, the Deputy Chief of the Training Department, Division Heads, researchers, project staff, the Japanese Trust Fund (JTF) Program Management Team, and personnel from the Training and Research Supporting Division (TRSD), Research and Development Division (RDD), and Project Planning and Management Division (PPMD).

The meeting reviewed the implementation progress of projects under the SEAFDEC/TD Program during the second quarter of 2026. Activity Leaders and Lead Technical Officers (LTOs) presented updates on project achievements, implementation status, budget utilization, key challenges, and planned activities for the third quarter of 2026. The meeting also provided a valuable opportunity for participants to exchange experiences, discuss implementation issues, and identify practical solutions to strengthen project management and ensure the timely and effective delivery of project outputs.
