Workshop on Model Construction and Structure of Commercial Fishing Gear

The SEAFDEC Training Department (SEAFDEC/TD) served thirty-six fisheries officers from the Marine Fisheries Research and Development Division, Department of Fisheries, Thailand on capacity building of knowledge and practices on model construction and structure of commercial fishing gear by organizing the workshop from 3 to 7 August 2020 at SEAFDEC/TD office, Samut Prakan, Thailand. The lectures on construction, structure and material of trawler, purse seine, and anchovy cast net were imparted to participants. The practical on model construction and repairing of mentioned fishing gears were conducted. After completion of the workshop, the participants were expected to understand and apply the knowledge from the workshop to their work.
