The SEAFDEC Training Department (SEAFDEC/TD) organized the Online Meeting on the Results of Human Resources Development on Ecosystem Approach to Fisheries Management (HRD-EAFM) and the EAFM implementation in the learning site on 20 July 2021 via zoom platform. This Meeting was participated by 26 participants (14 Females and 12 Males) from SEAFDEC/TD including four (4) learning site namely Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, and Thailand. The Meeting reviewed on the implementation of EAFM and results of monitoring and evaluation of HRD-EAFM through verification of EAFM implementation in four learning sites. The results found that the EAFM training and implementation in the learning site are best practices for developing a fisheries management plan to archive the sustainable enrichment of fisheries resources and improve the livelihood of fisherfolks. The Meeting also recommended to continue promoting EAFM in Southeast Asia via EAFM training through implementation of EAFM in the learning sites with engaging local fisher and fisheries relevant agencies and partners.
