Mr. Nakaret Yasuk
Fishing Technology Section Head (FTSH)
He specializes in fishing technology with a Master of Science in Marine Science from Kasetsart University. He has expertise in various fishing methods such as trawling, long lining, and gillnetting. He is also interested in the field of fisheries acoustics, particularly the application of acoustic data for biomass estimation. Currently, he leads the Fishing Technology Section at the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC/TD).

Dr. Nopporn Manajit
Marine Fisheries Senior Researcher (MFSR)
He is a Senior Marine Fisheries Researcher at SEAFDEC/TD. He earned his Ph.D. in Applied Marine Biosciences (2011) and an M.Sc. in Marine Life Sciences (2008) from Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology. With over 20 years of experience, he has led sections in Fishing Technology and Fisheries Resource Enhancement, focusing on responsible fishing technology and sustainable fisheries resource management. He is a lead practitioner of responsible fishing, specializing in TEDs, JTEDs and Japanese type of set-net technology.

Mr. Santiphong Putsa
Fishing Gear Technologist (FGT)
He specializes in fishing technology, with solid working knowledge of fishing operations and onboard equipment to support marine fisheries resource surveys for sustainable fisheries management. His expertise includes assessing the environmental and operational impacts of Abandoned, Lost, or Discarded Fishing Gear (ALDFG) through questionnaire-based surveys. Moreover, he has a strong professional interest in practical mitigation measures, particularly Fishing Gear Marking, ALDFG reporting systems, and the use of ROVs for ALDFG retrieval, to reduce negative impacts from fishing activities.
