M.V. SEAFDEC2 conducted her mission on survey assessing the abundance of fishery resources and asses the presence and impact of marine debris and microplastics in the aquatic environment in the Gulf of Thailand from 10 February to 14 March 2025. The survey covered 62 stations in the Gulf of Thailand. and aimed to evaluate the impacts of marine debris and microplastics on fisheries resources. This survey is an activity of the project “Regional Collaborative Research and Capacity Building for Monitoring and Reduction of Marine Debris from Fisheries in Southeast Asia” .
