Tailor-made Training Course on Basic Marine Engineering

SEAFDEC Training Department (SEAFDEC/TD) organized a “Tailor-made Training Course on Basic Marine Engineering” from 8 to 12 May 2023 at SEAFDEC/TD, Samut Prakan, Thailand as requested by the Faculty of International Maritime Studies, Kasetsart University, Sriracha Campus for 35 students. This training aims to build capacity for understanding and increase knowledge through experience in basic marine engineering. The lecture on vessel engines, electric systems in the vessel engine room, and hydraulic systems of vessels was imparted by the Chief Engineer of M.V. SEAFDEC and his team. Moreover, the student had a chance to visit M.V. SEAFDEC and practice on vessel engines and relevant systems in M.V. SEAFDEC. The student can apply knowledge and experience from this training for their job in the future.
