The University from Iloilo, Philippines Visits in TD Facilities

SEAFDEC Training Department (SEAFDEC/TD) welcomed 15 delegates who are faculty members and administrators from the College of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences (CFAS) of the Iloilo State University Fisheries Science and Technology (ISUFST) on 4 June 2024. The introduction of SEAFDEC and TD’s implementation projects was imparted and promoted to delegates. In addition, promotion of internationalization in the realm of fisheries education was presented by CFAS through exchange information on related fishery issues and possible cooperation in the future was discussed. Moreover, the delegates had a chance to visit and observe TD’s facilities such as the marine biology laboratory, fishing and engineering workshop, and M.V. SEAFDEC.
