The SEAFDEC Training Department (SEAFDEC/TD) hosted eight delegates from the Department of Fisheries and Coastal Development, Government of Balochistan, Pakistan, on 22 October 2025. The visit included an introduction to SEAFDEC’s regional role and mission, SEAFDEC/TD main activities and implementation, and discussions on combating illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing, fishing gear technology, and fisheries resource stock assessments. Finally, the delegation toured facilities including the Fishing Workshop, Fishery Engineering Workshop, and M.V. SEAFDEC.
