SEAFDEC/TD Organizes Training Course on Project Management in Practices

The SEAFDEC Training Department (SEAFDEC/TD) organized the Training Course on Project Management in Practices from 3 to 5 September 2025 at SEAFDEC/TD. The training course aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge and practical skills in project management methods, tools, and techniques; improve their ability to address project challenges effectively; strengthen team-building and leadership capacities for successful project delivery; and foster a positive mindset and empowering attitudes to support their work.

The training was attended by SEAFDEC staff from the Secretariat and SEAFDEC/TD who are involved in project implementation. The SEAFDEC Secretary-General and Chief of Training Department, Policy and Program Coordinator, Information Program Coordinator, Training and Research Supporting, and Project Planning and Management participate as advisors. A total of forty-three (43) participants joined the course, comprising 21 females and 22 males. The course was facilitated by instructors from Knowledger Training Institute, i.e. Mr. Paiboon Punyayuttakan and Ms. Arintra Punyayuttakan.

Throughout the three-day training, participants were divided into six groups to work on assignments and practice the use of project management tools. The exercises allowed them to plan, execute, and track projects more effectively through task management, resource allocation, budget setting, and progress monitoring. Tools such as Gantt charts were introduced to provide visual timelines and support workload analysis, making the training a comprehensive learning experience for improving project management capacity within SEAFDEC.
