On 19 February 2026, the SEAFDEC Training Department (SEAFDEC/TD) welcomed a delegation of four representatives from the Regional Strategic Assistance (RSA) Section of the U.S. Embassy Bangkok. During the visit, the delegation toured SEAFDEC/TD’s specialized facilities including the M.V. SEAFDEC research vessel, the Fishing Workshop, and the Marine Engineering Workshop to observe the technical capacity supporting regional fisheries development.
