SEAFDEC/TD Welcomes Delegation from ISDN Holdings Limited, Singapore to Explore Future Collaborations

The SEAFDEC Training Department (SEAFDEC/TD) warmly welcomed a delegation of four visitors from ISDN Holdings Limited, Singapore, on 17 October 2025. The visit aimed to foster potential future collaborations in fishing gear technology and marine engineering.

During the visit, SEAFDEC/TD representatives provided the ISDN Holdings Limited delegation with an introduction to SEAFDEC’s regional role and mission, and an overview of SEAFDEC’s implementation activities across the Southeast Asian region, particularly in marine engineering technology. Following this, the delegation provided an overview of their business expertise, which covers the entire industrial technology stack from components to machines and cloud systems. The meeting included an exchange of views and a discussion on the possibility of using automation technology to support the reduction of manpower for sorting fish at landing piers, etc. Finally, the delegation toured facilities including the fishing workshop, M.V. SEAFDEC, and M.V. SEAFDEC 2.
