Survey of Fishery Resources for Monitoring and Evaluation of EAFM Implementation at Rawai, Khon Khlan Sub-district, Thung Wa District, Satun Province, Thailand

Under the BOBLME Phase II Project, researchers from the Department of Fisheries, Satun Marine Fisheries Research and Development Center conducted a Survey of Fishery Resources from Local Fishing Gear in Rawai, Khon Khlan Sub-district, Thung Wa District, Satun Province. The survey aims to collect data on aquatic resources caught by local fishers to serve as baseline information for the EAFM plan and to evaluate its implementation and effectiveness in Rawai, Khon Khlan, Satun Province. The survey was carried out three times during October, November, and December. SEAFDEC staff joined the second survey, conducted on 10–11 November 2025, to observe the survey activities. Furthermore, the committees also met with the SEAFDEC team to review the progress of the EAFM plan implementation and exchange views on the proposed activities for the following year.
