SEAFDEC/TD Welcomes AIT Delegation

The SEAFDEC Training Department (SEAFDEC/TD) gave a warm welcome to 25 master’s students in Fisheries at the Central Institute Fisheries Education (CIFE) in Mumbai, India who attended the training program in the Aquaculture & Aquatic Resources Management (AARM), School of Environment, Resources and Development of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) on 18 January 2023. In this regard, SEAFDEC/TD introduced SEAFDEC’s role and mission in the region through lectures about the classification of fishing gear in Southeast Asia, and human resources development on fishery management in Southeast Asia. Moreover, all delegations observed the Fishing Workshop, Engineering Workshop, and M.V.SEAFDEC to gain experience of its research and training facilities.
